TSR-300 Ice Tracking Buoy
The TSR-300 Ice Tracker buoy is designed to be deployed in the arctic for remote tracking of sea ice and environmental monitoring. Using lithium primary cells for power and optional solar power for backup, the TSR-300 Ice Tracker is designed for long reliable operation in extreme environments. Satellite Iridium communication is used to communicate with the TSR-300 Ice Tracker. The onboard sensors measure position, temperature, relative humidity, pressure, and heave. External temperature sensor strings are also available to measure ice pack temperature at different depths.
